Standard Quotation & Order Terms and Conditions
Quotation & Pricing
- Please reference the provided quotation number on all purchase orders to ensure correct pricing.
- Quotations are valid for 5 business days unless stated otherwise.
- All prices reflect current market and supply conditions and are subject to change without notice.
- Tariffs: Any tariffs or related charges applied to Becker by vendors will be passed through to the customer, regardless of whether such charges were listed on the original quotation.
Fees & Charges
- Handling Fees (Collect Shipments):
- $7.50 for orders under $500
- $15.00 for orders $500 and above
- Credit Card Fee: 4% of the total invoice amount.
- Rush / Drop-Ship Orders: May be subject to additional manufacturer, expedite, or handling fees.
- Repair Inspection Fee: $35 minimum per item.
Order Review & Acknowledgment
- Customers must review all sales order acknowledgments for accuracy and notify Becker immediately of any discrepancies.
- Custom system orders require customer approval and sign-off on all drawings before Becker will issue an acknowledgment or proceed with production.
Shipping & Delivery
- All shipments are made FOB Origin – Becker Warehouse.
- Loss / Damage Disclaimer: Becker is not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit or after delivery.
- UPS claims typically cover a maximum of $100 (less carrier fees). Claims must be filed with UPS within 14 days of delivery for consideration.
- Shipments returned to Becker or requiring an address correction after shipment will incur additional UPS or carrier charges.
Returns & RMA Policy
- All returns must comply with Becker’s official RMA policy available at beckerengineeredsystems.com.
- Contact Becker to obtain an RMA number prior to returning any product.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
- A minimum 15% restocking fee applies to all returns and order cancellations; the exact amount will be determined during RMA issuance.
- Non-Returnable Items include (but are not limited to):
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Special-order items
- Private-label items
- Items with extended lead times
- Perishable or consumable materials and sensors
- Modbus codes or software licenses
- Electronics that have been opened, installed, or exposed to extreme heat or freezing conditions
